Type Four Mitten

Our most insulated mitten yet! EMP’s Type Four mitten has been developed with area mushers to keep your hands toasty in extreme conditions. Great for activities like dogsledding and snowmobiling. These mittens have 2.4 inches of insulation and are roomy enough for a liner glove and hand warmers, if needed.

Features:
* Elastic at wrist ensures quick on/off
* 3 attachment points- one on each side of the wrist and one in the gauntlet. Good for attaching to a mitten harness or connecting with a carabiner. Wrist attachments are forward of the balance point, ensuring minimal snow build up inside the mittens when suspended.
* 3-ply Supplex Nylon outer- black- can be treated with DWR (we highly recommend using PFC/PFAS free products)
* 2-ply Supplex Nylon inner- yellow
* 10 oz/sqyd Climashield APEX continuous filament insulation- polyester
* 5-7 oz moose or yak leather palm

Sizing:

One size fits most.  Sized generously to allow room for a liner mitt or glove.
